Evening Match 2nd July 2008

At last an evening match without rain,but the fishing wasn't great and we had a good turnout. 1st R Gillett 9lb 8oz (peg 38)2nd R Roley 5lb 2oz (peg 2)
3rd I Foster 5lb 1oz (peg 42) Roy had a welcome large carp caught on meat to boost his weight along with skimmers and roach caught on maggot.
Ryan had a bag of roach caught on maggot over cloudbait.
Ian had roach,rudd and skimmer and skimmers on the pole line with maggot plus a small carp for third from the margins on paste. Mr. Bunnett was highly upset as someone had disconnected his battery from his power trolley for a laugh but he never saw the funny side and said 'I'm not fishing here any more' and he knows who done it.
